Openings and closings: Japan Premium Beef opens, Union Prime closes

is open at 1187 Amsterdam Avenue. A new Chipotle
will be coming to Seventh Avenue between 37th and 38th streets and Qdoba will be coming to Third Avenue and 40th Street. Japan Premium Beef
is opening its first retail location soon at 57 Great Jones Street between Bowery and Lafayette streets. Sandwich shop 'Swich
has opened a new location at 83 Maiden Lane in the Financial District. A new organic dry cleaner
has opened on 9th Street. A CVS
is coming to the corner of East 8th Street and University Place. The Crosby Street Hotel in Soho, at 270 Lafayette Street,
is set to open in September. DBGB Kitchen and Bar will be holding its opening party next Tuesday at 299 Bowery. Local residents are thinking about giving the
365 Grand Street space to an Asian fusion restaurant. A cafe called Bread & Butta
is opening on Avenue C between 11th and 12th streets. The Ravel Rooftop Bar & Lounge at the Ravel Hotel, at 8-08 Queens Plaza South in Long Island City,
will open this week. Rocco and Jezebel for Pets, a pet store,
was slated to open at 89 Pineapple Walk in Brooklyn Heights.
Union Prime in Union Square, which was previously a Steak Frites,
has closed after four months and will reopen as Steak Frites. In Brooklyn, A to Z Luggage, on New Utrecht Avenue in Borough Park,
has closed. The cafe at 581 Fifth Avenue in Park Slope
has been closed. JC Bakery, on 86th Street in Bensonhurst,
is now Pippo's.
