Columbia's Harlem plans
Property owner Nick Sprayregen has filed a lawsuit against the city and Columbia University that challenges the rezoning that will allow the university to expand north into West Harlem. Sprayregen, who owns Tuck-It-Away Self Storage, has refused to sell his properties to Columbia and could lose them through an eminent domain taking. Norman Siegel, a civil rights lawyer expected to run for public advocate next year, is one of the attorneys on the case. [Crain's]
