Second penthouse plaintiff at Plaza

The Plaza
Possibly inspired by hedge fund manager Andrei Vavilov's litigation
earlier this month, a second penthouse buyer at the Plaza has initiated
a lawsuit against the building's developer, El-Ad, and its marketing
firm, Stribling & Associates. The unidentified owner of unit PH2001
-- who sources say is also a hedge fund manager -- wants his $6.5
million deposit back, plus at least $350,000 in legal fees and the
interest on his claims. The suit alleges "fraud, negligent
misrepresentation" and "deceptive trade practices."

As people become more nervous they'll pull more desperate moves like this. Law firms are going to be buzzing with claims like this.
