Showtime CEO buys $11M Superior Ink unit

The purchasing company, identified as Superior 10C LLC, went into contract on the four-bedroom sponsor unit October 2007 and closed on the purchase Nov. 30, city property records published yesterday show.
Blank, the head of the cable media company based in Midtown, paid about $3,463 per square foot for the 3,234-square foot unit. The transfer was made without a mortgage, indicating an all-cash purchase.
Superior 10C has an address at Blank's sixth-floor apartment at 1192 Park Avenue, between 93rd and 94th streets, city property records indicate.
Superior Ink, a 15-story apartment building designed by architect Robert A.M. Stern, includes 67 apartment and seven townhouses. Other high-profile buyers at Superior Ink include actress Hilary Swank, Houston Rockets owner Leslie Alexander and fashion designer Marc Jacobs, who bought a townhouse.
In one of the larger leasing deals this year, Showtime in July renewed its lease at 1633 Broadway at 51st Street.
Blank was traveling and unavailable for comment. A spokesperson for Showtime did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
