Tenants in position to bargain
February 06, 2009 11:30AM
Speaking on NBC's Today show this week, the Corcoran Group's founder, Barbara Corcoran, said that most apartments that haven't been sold are turning into rentals, and that tenants are now in the perfect position to bargain. Possible concessions from landlords include several months' free rent, an apartment with a better view or slightly more square footage for the same price.

Corcoran is like someone you let in to your house who looks at all of your private business and then goes out and tells everyone about it. Who made her an expert.

Wow - obviously the folks above are not in real estate or else you would know who babara corcoran is -she is arguably one of the most successful brokers in the city and she managed to take her company from a small operation to one of the most influntial real estate firms in the city "the corcoran group" which sold for over 50Million dollars... So what constitutes being an expert? Is 30+ years in the industry and being the founder of Corcoran not enough? get over yourselves.
