Times building's facade altered

Three people have climbed the New York Times building in the past five weeks, so the Times has decided to change the building's facade. Dozens of the building's ceramic rods were removed Wednesday afternoon, hours after a man started climbing the building, at Eighth Avenue and 41st Street. The Times said it wouldn't take the rods down after the two original climbers used them as a ladder on June 5.  [NYT]

we have to loose a beautiful component of the building because of three people, its absurd! Put tougher security measures on ground..
