Palm Beach is experiencing boom times in 2008.Palm Beach County's most
posh enclave is setting records despite the dismal real estate
conditions that surround the affluent city. In June, Donald Trump's
oceanfront estate at 515 N. County Road sold for $95 million to Russian
billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev, setting a record for the county. Trump --
perhaps typically -- also claimed it set a U.S. record through a
spokesperson, though the sale of a 40-acre home in New York's posh
Hamptons for $103 million in 2007 would seem to belie that claim.
