Bernie MAdoff took the fall for the whole rotten system. The much bigger Ponzi scheme is the bailout,which will steal billions of tax payers money for generations. Madoff was set up to cover up the REAL PONZI EVENT....THE BAILOUT!

Most people who invested with Madoff were greedy, and they deserve what happened to them. Didn't they know that you do not put all your eggs in one basket? And the returns on their investment was 15%, when everybody else was paying 5%. I feel 'pain' for all of them.

Yeah but this mother was his accountant! She knew the books were cooked from the inside, so any speculation that she didn't know what was going on is pure fantasy. She'll be heading to jail once the DA gathers enough evidence to convict her.

When I was young - and broke, I used to travel on weekend trips and camp out in KOA spots in a Shasta Trail Along Trailer - a 14' Shasta Should work well. Really? Who cares. Under a bridge in Pompano Beach is good. She can sell Sun Sentinel Newspapers on the greens along Sample Road and wear those funny little pink hats and pocket half the change like the rest of the paper sales people. Knowing her, she'll take 59 cents go to a news stand, put in the change for a paper and take the 50 other papers there and go sell them on the street and pocket the difference.
