New Yankee Stadium plan unveiled

The design for the new Yankee Stadium in the South Bronx was unveiled Wednesday afternoon before an audience that included Gov. George Pataki and Mayor Michael Bloomberg. The new stadium, scheduled to open next to the current one by the 2009 season, will keep much of the look of the Yankee Stadium built in 1923. The city and the state also revealed plans to build a convention center and hotel nearby.
