Cultural center at Ground Zero may be hemmed

A key aide to Gov. George Pataki said the proposed 250,000-square-foot cultural center at Ground Zero may be scaled back by the state. Pataki and Mayor Michael Bloomberg unveiled the center in May, but “it’s too large,” John Cahill, who advises the governor on Downtown’s recovery efforts, said Thursday. more [Daily News]
