Manhattan apartment prices up last quarter

The median sales price for Manhattan apartments jumped 6% during the latest quarter, while the average sales price leveled off, according to a report released Wednesday by the Real Estate Board of New York. The report contradicts a third-quarter report by Miller Samuel Inc., which shows median apartment prices falling 4% to $845,147 and the average sales price increasing 12% to $1.29 million. more [NYP]
