Times tower’s first retail lease

Japanese clothing and houseware retailer Muji has signed the first lease for retail space at the under-construction New York Times tower. The 5,000-square-foot space will be Muji’s first outpost in the United States. The company has 387 stores in Asia and Europe. According to a spokesperson for the Times tower’s developer, Forest City Ratner, there is currently a great deal of activity surrounding the building’s four other retail spaces. more TRD
