State to refinance $100M in mortgages

The state and the Federal National Mortgage Association will launch a program today called “Keep the Dream” to help borrowers who are having trouble making mortgage payments. The program, which will cover the refinancing of $100 million in mortgages, is expected to come to the aid of several hundred homeowners who are in danger of defaulting on their loans. more [NYT]
