Debris falls from Midtown towers

Debris fell from two Midtown towers yesterday, including the new New York Times Building. A pedestrian was hurt at each site. Glass also fell from a Passaic, N.J., bank building. Gusts of more than 40 miles per hour were blamed. The New York Times Company, which owns the second through the 28th floors, said developer Forest City Ratner owns the higher floors. Debris also fell from a 50-story tower at 1345 Sixth Avenue and 55th Street.
