Harlem tower to house baseball network

Harlem Park, the first big office tower to be built in Harlem since the early 1970s, will house a new Major League Baseball cable TV network. A joint venture led by Vornado Realty Trust is building the glass tower at 125th Street and Park Avenue, which could also house Inner City Broadcasting, the second-largest radio broadcasting company that targets black listeners. Vornado took over the property after a hotel project failed. It’s near a Metro-North train stop and what will be the northern terminus of the Second Avenue subway. As The Real Deal reported yesterday, the developers say they need to break a proposed height cap by 40 feet.
