U2 frontman Bono has sold his 2,322-square-foot co-op unit at the El Dorado, on Central Park West at 90th Street, for $4.9 million. He paid for $3.4 million for the unit, and put it on the market for $5.95 million in March 2006, before reducing the price to $5.5 million in June. Bono lives in an apartment at the nearby San Remo that he paid $14.5 million for five years ago.
