Brokers can’t represent multiple bidders

An agent can represent one competing bidder on a property, and no more
than one, a New York State court official has ruled. A 1991 disclosure
law already said buyers’ agents may not represent multiple bidders
without obtaining client consent. An agency can still represent
multiple buyers.
