Vornado’s Moynihan Station project may shut down the Times Square Virgin Mega Store, which is in the way of Vornado’s “Plan B” for the redevelopment of the Penn Station area and the Farley Post Office across the street from station. “Plan B” would bring Penn Station two new, “grand” entrances on Seventh and Eighth Avenues; it could add retail space to the Hotel Pennsylvania or build a large tower on the site. Madison Square Garden would be renovated, not moved, as the original plan called for.
