South Jamaica torn apart by foreclosures

June 30, 2008 11:23AM

A three-by-three-block section in South Jamaica has one of the highest concentration of foreclosures in the New York City, with 98 foreclosed homes.
Since January 2006, the blocks between Linden and Foch Boulevards, and
from 145th Street to 147th Street, have faced hikes in foreclosures,
leaving families homeless or divided because of financial fights and
without utilities.
