Hundreds check out Domino plans

Hundreds of visitors attended an open house at the Domino Sugar Factory in Williamsburg to get an update on the planned residential conversion of the 124-year-old landmarked building. Groundbreaking on the project is expected next year. Plans call for creating 2,200 apartments there, with 660 set aside as rentals or condos for people earning between $25,000 and $95,000 a year.
