One Brooklyn Bridge Park developer hopes to woo retail

Developer Ian Levine, COO and CFO of RAL Companies & Affiliates, said he hopes to bring a
high-end supermarket and restaurants to the 75,000 square feet of
retail space available at One Brooklyn Bridge Park. The building’s
developer has long wanted to bring a grocery store into the 449-unit
development, but the location may be difficult for a neighborhood
grocery store. Levine said the building would also consider adding a
gallery, a special events space or small shops. Apartment sales at the building have recently slowed
