Sales success is relative to market

Real estate marketers now consider it a success if two or three buyers sign contracts in a month, and actually hand over checks for the 10 percent down payments. The Platinum, at 247 West 46th Street, at Eighth Avenue, and the Visionaire, at 70 Little West Street, between Second and Third places, both had three contracts signed in the last four weeks. “The developers didn’t want to release this information because they are afraid it doesn’t sound like many sales,” said Adrienne Albert, CEO of the Marketing Directors, which is marketing the buildings. “But given today’s market and the fact that some jobs are closing their offices because sales are so slow, I am quite proud of our achievement.”
