Web site lets landlords research tenants

There have been Web sites to rate the city’s brokers, and now there’s one that outs bad tenants. By joining the new Web site DoNotRentTo.com, landlords can research prospective renters and see if they have had problems in the past with payments, destruction of property or other issues. The site is driven by information submitted by landlords, and a one-year membership to the site costs $29.99. The co-founder of the Web site, Joseph Collins, said there are more than 2,000 tenants currently in the database, and that the site has seen more traffic because of the downturn as landlords want to check if prospective renters have good credit.
