Famed divorcee faces tenant suit

Chana Taub, the Brooklyn woman whom a judge famously ordered to build a wall in the middle of the Borough Park home she shared with her estranged husband last year, is embroiled in another legal scandal. Taub’s tenants at the 52nd Street apartment she manages in the Mapleton neighborhood have sued her after she allegedly evicted them without cause. Taub, in turn, has claimed that the tenants haven’t paid rent in a year. Although it’s unclear when a ruling will emerge, a judge has, in the meantime, ordered Taub to pay the building’s delinquent electric and insurance bills.
