The New York City College of Technology in Downtown Brooklyn has scheduled the demolition of its Klitgord Center at Tilary and Jay streets for spring, according to recent reports from the school. A new academic building for the college’s science and healthcare programs will feature a new auditorium and gymnasium. The new building is being designed by Perkins Eastman Architects, the team responsible for the new 32-story Brooklyn Supreme and Family Court building. Its design is still being refined, and it is still unclear when the plans will be finalized.
