Opening and closing: Duane Reade opens, Sol de Ibiza closes

Santos Patty House, a basement food stand, will open in the Santos
Party House at 96 Lafayette Street between Walker and White streets.
Duane Reade will open in the ground floor of 200 Water Street on the corner of Pearl Street in the
Financial District, according to a press release. Clothier James Coviello will open a location at 70
Orchard Street near the corner of Grand Street.
A dessert shop, Spot, is expected to open its doors at 13 St. Mark’s Place
between Second and Third avenues in November. The Highline Room at
the Standard Hotel opened in the Meatpacking District at 848
Washington Street near 14th Street.
Shuttered nightclub Prime is reportedly establishing itself as Quo at 511 28th Street between 10th and 11th avenues. The Breslin Bar
and Dining Room has opened at 20 West 29th Street near Broadway.
Artichoke Pizza is looking to open another location in the former Red
Rock space on the corner of 17th Street and 10th Avenue.
According to early reports, an Italian food cart may be coming to 45th
Street and Sixth Avenue.
On the Upper West Side, Bomboloni is slated to open on Columbus Avenue and 68th Street by next Monday. A New Jersey tourism office has set up shop on the corner of
73rd Street and Columbus Avenue.
The Sunburnt Calf is set to open at 79th Street and Amsterdam Avenue. Pet Fashion has opened a location on Columbus Avenue between 87th and
88th streets.
Best Yet food market is opening in Harlem on Frederick Douglass
Boulevard between 118th and 119th streets.
The owners of New York City mainstay Grimaldi’s Pizza are looking to set up another pizzeria called Juliana’s in Manhattan.

Resort wear retailer Sol de Ibiza will be shuttering at 52 Greene Street near the corner of Broome Street.
Mia Dona has closed for renovations at 206 East 58th Street near the
corner of Third Avenue.

In Brooklyn, the Woods, a bar and lounge, will open at 48 South Fourth Street in Williamsburg.
A Greenpoint Karate studio will close at 159 Greenpoint Avenue and a Latin restaurant will open in its space.

Park Slope’s own sock and accessory retailer, the Socksmith, is closing up shop on Fifth Avenue between Degraw and Sackett streets. Also in Park Slope, restaurant Playa has shuttered on the corner of President Street and Fifth Avenue.
