Outdoor eatery to open in Harlem

Harlem Tavern

An outdoor restaurant called the Harlem Tavern will be arriving at The Former Gas Station On 116th Street And Frederick Douglass Boulevard, according to Harlem Bespoke. The property is currently being gutted and filings from the Department of Buildings show that it will have a restaurant similar to the B Bar on East 4th Street, which is also a gas station-to-outdoor restaurant conversion. According to pictures on the restaurant’s website, the Harlem Tavern will feature a low brick wall and the patio’s outdoor flooring will have brickwork as well. The opening date may be sometime in the early winter. [Harlem + Bespoke]
