Hudson Square office tower reaches 100 percent occupancy

A Hudson Square office tower at 137 Varick Street has reached 100 percent occupancy, the New York Observer reported, thanks to leases recently signed with the Polytechnic Institute of NYU and Paik Architecture and the expansion of Unity Construction Development within the space.

NYU signed a three-year lease for 28,364 square feet of space in the Trinity Real Estate-owned building, while Paik Architecture and its affiliates agreed to a five-year lease for 2,988 square feet of space, the Observer said. Meanwhile, construction management firm Unity Construction Development signed a four-year lease extension, upping its space to 3,100 from 2,000 square feet.
