LES complex, home to Cake Shop, hits the market for $21.25M

A Lower East Side apartment complex, Gotham Court, has hit the market for $21.25 million, according to its listing. Located at 152 Ludlow Street, the building houses the music venue Cake Shop, which recently launched a crowd-sourcing effort to offset their debts to the landlord.

Deborah Gutoff, George Moss and Paul Nigido of Eastern Consolidated are marketing the property, which has 36,544 square feet and rises seven stories. According to PropertyShark, the building has three commercial units and 22 residential units. According to city public records, a deed was granted to an LLC named 149-151 Essex Street Associates.
