$1M Southampton rental is priciest left on market

If you’re looking to snag the season’s most expensive remaining Hamptons rental, then you need to head to Southampton. The New York Post reported that the mansion at 396 Meadow Lane, asking $1 million for a Memorial Day through Labor Day stay, remains on the market.

Christina Dorn and Richard Doyle of Prudential Douglas Elliman have the listing for the 7,000-square-foot home, which has 10 bedrooms and nine bathrooms. The listing says the home sits on three acres of land that front the ocean directly.

The owner of the property is Mark Jay Heller, who did not respond to the Post’s requests for comment. Heller, a New York lawyer, has represented Jon Gosselin and David Berkowitz, also known as the “Son of Sam.” The home was built in 1991 and according to published reports, Heller purchased the property in 1985.
