A six-story Georgian townhouse on the Upper East Side owned by famed Broadway producer and director Harold Prince is on the market for $22 million.

Prince, a theatrical producer and director known for directing musicals such as “Show Boat” and “Kiss of the Spiderman,” bought the home from Constellation Realty in 2009 for $12.5 million. His wife Judith’s name is also on the deed.

The home, located at 48 East 74th Street, between Madison and Park avenues, previously belonged to the Women’s League of Conservative Judaism.

Barbara Fox of Fox Residential has the listing.

The 20-foot-wide townhouse features a chef’s kitchen, a library, a home office, a ground-floor garden and a top-floor conservatory.

In his lifetime, Prince, 84, has been honored with 21 Tony awards for his work producing and directing shows. That’s more than any other individual in the history of the awards. He has also produced shows such as “Fiddler on the Roof” and “Pacific Overtures” to critical acclaim.

Fox was not immediately available for comment, while a phone number listed for Prince on public records had been disconnected.
