The October issue is now online

With the November presidential election just around the corner, The Real Deal looks at the relationship between money, real estate and politics. In our cover story, How the election will change NYC real estate, Leigh Kamping-Carder maps out some of the key races, big money and political players impacting the real estate industry this election season.

In Politicos’ palaces, we look at where some of the most influential and real estate–minded politicians live in NYC (e.g., State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and City Council speaker Christine Quinn live in apartments that appear to barely exceed the average Manhattan apartment price). And in Show me the money, The Real Deal examines what real estate players get for their generous donations to state political candidates.
