As previously reported, Daniel Brodsky was in talks with the General Theological Seminary to acquire this 50,000-square-foot property since early this year. Around that same time, Brodsky had also purchased another nearby property for $18.5 million from the General Theological Seminary, which is shedding some buildings after falling into financial trouble.

The Desmond Tutu Center has 60 hotel rooms and two conference rooms.

There is no word regarding plans for the center. [Curbed]
