A new five-story apartment building designed by architect Karl Fischer could fill a vacant lot at 23 Bleecker Street in Brooklyn’s Bushwick neighborhood, Curbed reported. The project would have 20 units, a rooftop recreational area and bike storage.

A two-story Italianate house sat on the double lot until it was demolished in 2007. An application for the project was filed last week, neighborhood blog Wyckoff Heights reported, and the building would provide parking for 10 cars. Permits for the building are still pending.
