Last of Huguette Clark’s Fifth Avenue co-ops now asking $7.2M

The last apartment of heiress Huguette Clark’s holdings at 907 Fifth Avenue is now on the market for $7.2 million, the New York Post reported. Mary Rutherfurd and Leslie Coleman of Brown Harris Stevens have the listing. 

Last year, financier Frederick Iseman paid $22.5 million for two of Clark’s eighth-floor apartments to enlarge his home at the co-op building. The notoriously picky co-op board approved the sale in November, as previously reported.

The remaining unit was previously on the market for five months with a $12 million price tag.

“We were waiting for the right time to relist it,” a source told the Post. “This will be a spectacular apartment for someone to buy. It was the right time to put the apartment back on the market. It’s a great property. There’s a lot of space. It’s big and grand. Someone could make something beautiful out of it.”

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom, 10-room apartment includes a library and eat-in kitchen. The co-op is in a 1915 Italian palazzo-style building with a limestone façade.

Clark died at the age of 104 in 2011. Though she had not lived in the outdated homes for decades, they were maintained by staff and showcased her possessions, including a spooky doll collection.
