Sinatra’s former UES home finds a Chinese buyer

Updated, 11:41 a.m., May 16: Start spreading the news — Frank Sinatra’s former Upper East Side penthouse has found a buyer, the New York Post reported.

The 3,200-square-foot, four-bedroom, four-plus-bathroom co-op is located at 530 East 72nd Street, and an offer from the daughter of a Chinese technology magnate has been accepted, sources told the Post, though the apartment is not yet in contract. It was last listed for $5.5 million with Rubicon Property’s Jason Haber, after dropping down from its original $7.7 million ask.

The penthouse, which Sinatra helped design in 1961, boasts 18-foot ceilings, a wraparound terrace and river views. It has been host to several Rat Pack bashes.
