UPDATED: 4:26 p.m., July 10: A Lot Across The Street from the Barclays Center, with frontage on Dean and Bergen streets, just sold for $6 million, Brownstoner reported. The new owner plans to conduct a complete renovation that will result in 16,500 square feet of retail space and 11,000 square feet of office space, a spokesperson told The Real Deal.

Neil Dolgin and Grant Dolgin of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates represented the seller, the Ulano Corporation, while Robert Klein, also of KDA, represented the buyer, Singh, in the transaction.

The parcel includes a warehouse at 592-594 Dean Street, along with a parking lot that spans 587-597 Bergen Street. Excluded from the deal was a one-story warehouse at 606 Dean Street, which backs up to the parking lot.

According to a proposed rendering cited by Brownstoner, developers were looking for capital to purchase the site and to “conduct needed renovation and construction of the property.” The materials noted that the entire project would run $8 million.

At the time of writing, no plans had yet been filed with the Department of Buildings. [Brownstoner]Julie Strickland
