Dice Holdings, a provider of specialized career websites, has renewed and expanded its lease at 1040 Avenue of the Americas in Midtown, the New York Observer reported.

The firm will trade its space on the 16th floor in the Skyline Properties’ Art Deco building for the entire 8th floor, spanning 12,007 square feet.

Besides the eighth floor, only the 6,895-square-foot 24th floor and slivers of 3,500-square-foot to 7,500-square-foot prebuilt spaces remain available in the building.

“We are delighted to continue our partnership with such a well-established business and outstanding tenant at 1040 Avenue of the Americas.” Orin Wilf, president of Skyline Developers, said in a statement. “Since acquiring the building, we have established it as one of the premier office buildings around Bryant Park, and a destination for tenants looking for well-crafted office space.”

William Cohen, Ryan Kass and Andrew Weisz of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, who succeeded in nabbing tenants like Vortexx Entertainment Ventures and Charles River Systems earlier in the year, represented both parties. Asking rents in the building are generally in the low- to mid-$50s per square foot, according to the Observer. [NYO]Julie Strickland
