Neil Patrick Harris, Tony Awards host and “How I Met Your Mother” star, his fiance David Burtka, and the duo’s two-year-old twins are moving into a $3.6 million townhouse in Harlem.

Harris and family recently purchased the 8,000-square-foot, five-story, five-bedroom home, located at 2036 Fifth Avenue. The property includes two terraces, a backyard and a chef’s kitchen.

The duo’s previous home was in Harlem as well.

Fabienne Lecole of the Corcoran Group was the listing agent on the property, while Noble Black — also of Corcoran — represented Harris and Burtka in the sale. [NYP]Julie Strickland

Great townhouse but the street is just north of 125th which is a bit scaly compared to the area south which has a lovely boulevard and Marcus Garvey Park.

1 Street away doesnt kill a person….or does it?

The upscale border has definitely moved north of 125th St. Renowned sculptor Ugo Rondinone is restoring a historic church a block further uptown on Fifth Avenue as an arts space and personal residence.. Harlem hot spot Red Rooster is one block from here, along with other upscale dining options. 126th is on fire with development. A Fifth Avenue address is still a Fifth Avenue address.
