The Brooklyn Flea is heading indoors for the year’s colder months, having signed a four-month lease for a 47,000-square-foot outpost in Williamsburg.

The food and clothing market will operate its Williamsburg location in East River State Park until late November. Then, it will set up shop on the second floor of 185 Wythe Avenue. TerraCRG is handling leasing at the building, where asking rents range from $50 to $100 per square foot. A total of 92,000 square feet of retail space is still available on the bottom level and first floor.

The Flea has also operated in the past at Fort Greene at One Hanson Place during the winter months — and at 176 Lafayette Avenue in the summer.

Jonathan Butler, founder of the blog Brownstoner, and Eric Demby were behind the creation of the Brooklyn Flea, as well as Smorgasburg, which is also stationed at East River State Park. Brooklyn Flea recently expanded to Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. [NYO]Mark Maurer
