A West Village sex shop will soon give way to a new mixed-use property crowned with 4,850 square feet of residential space.
The Jackson Group, which bought the 192 Seventh Avenue property for $4.1 million in February, will transform the spot into a three-unit project with 1,600 square feet of commercial space, two full-floor apartments and one duplex, according to a plan exam cited by BuzzBuzzHome. SRA Architecture and Engineering has been tapped to design the development.
Demolition permits have yet to turn up for the West 11th Street corner spot, which is located across the street from St. Vincent’s hospital conversion Greenwich Lane. Current tenant Fantasy World reportedly has several years remaining on its lease. [BuzzBuzzHome] — Julie Strickland
