Carly Simon can no longer croon “You Belong To Me” about her West Village co-op. The Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter just sold the home for close to the $2.3 million asking price.

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom duplex at 46 Commerce Street near Barrow Street has two wood-burning fireplaces, wide-plank flooring and exposed brick, the New York Post reported.

Corcoran Group’s Nick Gavin was the latest broker to have the listing. The 68-year-old singer initially listed it in June 2008 for $3.9 million with her sister Joanna Simon of Fox Residential. Two years later, the asking price was chopped to $2.98 million. She relisted it with Douglas Elliman’s Raphael De Niro with a $2.8 million ask in 2012, soon dropping the price to $2.5 million.

In February, Gavin came aboard when the property was relisted again, still for $2.5 million. [NYP]Mark Maurer
