Businessman Nick Loeb, engaged to “Modern Family” actress Sofia Vergara, has taken up residence at a condominium he is renting at the Milan.
Loeb was residing in a penthouse duplex apartment in Chelsea. Elsewhere in the 31-story Milan, at 300 East 55th Street at Second Avenue, a penthouse condominium where Martin Scorsese’s upcoming “The Wolf of Wall Street” was filmed hit the market for $6.5 million, as reported yesterday.
Loeb is the son of former U.S. Ambassador John Loeb, a member of the Lehman family and the Loeb family, which founded the financial brokerage, Loeb, Rhoades & Company. He started a condiment company that manufactures the topping Onion Crunch.
Vergara reportedly “called off” the wedding to Loeb, the Daily Mail reported last week, citing unnamed sources. It has not yet been confirmed. [NYP] — Mark Maurer
