A month after mulling a move to Queens, Nordstrom Rack made it official with a lease for a new 39,000-square-foot store at the Shops at SkyView Center in Flushing, according to the retailer.

Onex Real Estate Partners is developing the two-level store that Nordstrom’s discount arm would occupy at the mall, located at 40-24 College Point Boulevard. The store is slated to open in the fall.

This year marks more than one Nordstrom Rack milestone in the city. The chain is opening its first Brooklyn store, at 505 Fulton Street, sometime this spring. It signed a deal for a 41,000-square-foot space on the second floor of the Fulton Street Mall in July, as previously reported.

The 700,000-square-foot Queens mall also hosts Best Buy, Bed Bath & Beyond, Old Navy, Target and Marshall’s, a release said. — Mark Maurer
