Weiner, a former U.S. representative who resigned from Congress following a “sexting” scandal in 2011, was spotted checking out apartments in Gramercy, the New York Post reported. The couple toured a three-bedroom unit at a Philippe Starck-designed building at 340 East 23rd Street, which was asking a rent of $8,000 per month, Citi Habitats broker Brian Morgan told the paper.

Weiner and Abedin owned a two-bedroom co-op in Queens’ Forest Hills neighborhood, which they sold shortly after the sexting scandal broke in 2011, according to the Post. Since then, they have lived at the Park Avenue South building, according to the paper. [NYP]Hiten Samtani
