“Man v. Food” production group re-ups at 1071 Sixth Ave.

Ten Seventy One Associates is allowing the TV production company behind reality shows “Man V. Food” and “Extreme Couponing” to take a bigger bite out of 1071 Sixth Avenue, between 41st and 42nd streets.

Sharp Entertainment LLC signed a lease to grow to 35,800 square feet from 21,800 square feet. Asking rent for the Garment District space was $49 per square feet.

David Levy of Adams & Company represented Ten Seventy One Associates as well as Sharp Entertainment.

In December, high-end clothier David Peysner Sportswear renewed its 14,000-square-foot space on the 12th floor for an additional 10 years, while tacking on 3,545 square feet of increased room on the building’s eighth floor, as previously reported. [WSJ, 3rd item]Mark Maurer
