Bed-Stuy developer Fulton Corner LLC filed permits for a 50-unit, mixed-use building in the neighborhood.

The 42,056-square-foot, eight-story property at 1007-1011 Atlantic Avenue, near Classon Avenue, will hold ground-floor retail space and a residential component. The apartments, either condominiums or rentals, will each average 700 square feet, New York Yimby reported.

Isaac & Stern was hired as the architect of record. The expected date of completion is unknown. [New York Yimby]Mark Maurer

this will probably be the first of many mixed use projects along this stretch of atlantic. the favorable zoning, vacant land, small commercial buildings are the perfect recipe. it will be interesting to watch the changes.
