Yorkville-based Shalimar Management filed plans for a 12-story building in Kips Bay with 18 apartments.
The mixed-use site at 543 Second Avenue at 30th Street is set to hold more than 17,000 square feet of residential space.
When completed, the building will also feature 1,540 square feet of ground-floor retail.
The project has been gestating for some time, with ROART initially on board as the architect, New York YIMBY reported. 5D Architecture & Engineering is now serving as architect. [NY Yimby] — Mark Maurer
