Garden City, N.Y.-based independent retail brokerage Sabre Real Estate Group opened its first Brooklyn office, in Park Slope, late last month.

The office is located at 256b Flatbush Avenue, near St. Marks Avenue. The brokerage has a staff of 30 brokers and focuses on deals in the city, New Jersey and on Long Island. Six brokers will work at this 2,500-square-foot space across two floors. The lease was signed in early May, a spokesperson said.

Jayson Siano, managing principal, and Scott Sher, principal, are heading up the team for Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island. The Manhattan office is at 641 Sixth Avenue, near 19th Street.

This month, Sabre represented Retro Fitness in a lease at a two-story retail building coming to Rego Park. The brokerage also repped cosmetics chain Ulta Beauty to an 11,400-square-foot space at the Mall at Bay Plaza in the Bronx, as previously reported. — Mark Maurer
