The Real Deal New York

Check out the High Line’s final phase

The last section of the elevated park will open this fall

The immensely successful High Line, which has sent Chelsea prices through the roof, is on its third and final phase.

A source provided Curbed with a photo of the construction, commenting that you can see “the planting and putting a protective coat on the cement (note the full white hazmat gear)…polyurethane?”

The last phase of the wildly popular tourist attraction – it saw 4.4 million visitors in 2012 alone — is slated to open this fall.

The final section will snake around the Hudson Yards megaproject, and curve west at 30th Street and Tenth Avenue, before making another 90-degree turn to the north at Twelfth Avenue. The elevated walkway then ends at 34th Street. [Curbed] Christopher Cameron
